Buea
It
is a small town at the foot of mount Cameroon which is the second
highest in Africa and the highest in West Africa. Mount Cameroon is an
active volcanic mountain which has witnessed recent eruption, the
region also has one of the untempered ecosystem due to it's hilly
nature.

Airports/Seaports
The
nearest Airport to Buea is the Douala International Airport which is
about 65km from Buea. Passenger ship leaves Calabar in Nigeria to
anchor in Tiko in Cameroon every Wednesday and Saturday and leaves Tiko
to calabar every Monday and thursdays. The seaport is 13Km from
Buea.
Transportation to the Venue
For
international participants, arrangement shall be made to pick them up
at the various destinations. The only way to reach Buea from Douala is
by a car or bus. There is a car rental service or taxis which can take
you to the bus terminus.

Visa
It is OBLIGATORY to obtain a visa from your home country when there is a diplomatic representation of Cameroon. In
case the Cameroon embassy or High commission is not within your reach,
do well to inform organizers who will arrange for a visa to be
delivered at the point of entry. In this case your passport details
need to be scanned and sent. However Nigerian participants can obtain
visa at the port/border of entry into Cameroon.
